How quick can you get a private plate removed from the car and on to another that you own the corsa is good as sold so need to get plate of asap no sarcasm please

fook can you not go to DVLA office in say like edinburgh and change them right there?

£105 transfer, did mine on a bank hol monday, letter arrived with new log book 10 days later.

Form says 80 quid to transfer and 105 for retain

You can go to the office to pay but they will send it off when you hand the stuff over. You used to get the tax disc straight back with the new reg on and the V5 would follow but that is no longer how it works.
