These engines are supposedly 'indestructible'. What are your opinions (based on experience) on good and bad points on these vans?

I had one in my 1st corsa. Never once missed a single beat in 3 years of ownership and only ever had to replace the alternator. Not very quick at all though

TD can be tuned with 20psi boost. NA will be shite.

MPG 50ish or so?

I used one for work for about 2 years. ragged the SHIT out of it everywhere, nothing ever went wrong with it. Slow as fuck though.

I have a 1.5 Corsa but not a van.

At 65mph I get 70+mpg
