Also depends whether or not the GSI the loom is from has an air bag as well

also anyone know the best way to get a steering wheel off? i aint paying 20quid for a puller that i will only use once if i can help it,

get some one to pull in really hard and bang the underside with a heavy dampened mallet, lol. always worked for me.

put the nut on the column then while pulling on steering wheel tap the nut with a hammer

Get someone to sit in the drivers seat and pull towards them, get yourself a long punch, loosen off the nut but keep it on the spline by a few threads. Wack the column and as you wack it tell the person to pull up really hard, so as you hit they pull up then relax count down from 3 and as you hit again get them to really force themselves to yank it up. Will work after a few times.

no mate they will be difrent as i found out using a early 1.4 sport dash loom with a late 1.6 sport air con i had no rear brake lights, reverse lights, and when i put hazzards on headlights flashed lol i soon found the pins that were missing and wired the colours up im front pas footwell that black clip strange one tho best off trying to find a loom with somebody braking the same car as you make sure it has the same as your car air con, electric mirrors, fogs, abs, etc etc

i have a full gsi car loom here, but im changing loom into a 1ltr shell, so dont have electric mirrors, although i will be fitting them aswell as electric windows, dont have fogs or abs, anyone know what loom i need? thanks
