I haven't got nothing against you, just the car you drive. It's just that I drove a brand new one this evening, 1.2 and my god you needed to give it some beans to get it going. Thought it was a diesel at first due to how many revs needed to move it, how do you lot cope? Got to admit I prefer the Corsa C 1.2 than the Corsa D.
Also are all the Corsa D's like this or just small engined?

Think the D needs at least a 1.4 to make it half decent.

Mums 1.2 is shocking. I used to think my 1.2 C was reasonably nippy around town, but her D is awful everywhere.
Far too heavy and an engine with no torque.

I had a 1.2 16v C and it couldn't even pull your foreskin back. Worst car I've ever owned.

I want to drive a 1.0 12v Corsa D, I bet that is a laugh to drive.
I drove a 1.2 16v and it is gutless, but suprisingly it's still quicker than the Corsa B 1.2 16v
Our 1.4 16v is quite good, I took it for a run the other day and it got to 100mph no problem with some left in it.
When I get the Regal remap, the 4 branch, CAT back system and Pipercross filter with drilled airbox I'm hoping for around 110bhp

Why you bothering with all that expense when the Burg will be infinitely quicker out of the box

Those engines seem to be proper Torque'y. We have them in our Combo vans at work.

I wouldn't say all corsa D's are slow.
Surely most modern cars with 1200cc engines aren't going to be quick?
