I bought myself the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 HSM II - awesome bit of kit so far, punches way above its weight, some say it performs better than Nikons own (which I can neither prove nor disprove) but its certainly fast, sharp and silent.
Took nearly 5 weeks to get here though, Sigma ship them in to order unless the shops keep em in stock (which seems rare as they always sell out very quickly)
