I need to get a spare key cut for my Swift soi can get the chip out of the main one and send it to the guy i sold my engine to.

What should i do?

Well go to a place in town where they cut keys and ask them to cut a new one, right?

Well thats what i did. Did i get a key cut? no.

Basicly the guy refused to cut a key without a chip as "it will not start the engine". He still refused to cut it after i said that it had a different engine put in and has no immobilizer. "If you are wrong and it will not work on your new engine you might sue us".

At this point i just got mad and left.

No knowledge or common sense at all.

and i wasnt paying 20 quid for a chip when normal key cost a 5er!

rant over.
