At present I have a '03 reg Seat Leon Cupra R 210 revo remapped to 265bhp, in black with very low miles!

I am contemplating changing it for a Diesel. Now ideally something the same size as my Leon Cupra I'd love a Golf. Would have to be newer than a Mk4 as I don't like the Mk4 except the Annis or R32.

Not sure what sort of Golf Mk6 I'd get for up to £7k?

Suggestions please?

Never knew they done the R32 in diesel.

Probably get an astra tdci 1.9 with an exterior pack for 7k.

Don't think you'd get a MK6 Golf for £7 because they havent been out long, might be able to pick up a MK5 GT TDi 170bhp for that, could be high mileage though. MK4 Anniversary TDi would be a good one for under £7000 though, leaves some change for a good remap probably.

For a 5 year old one perhaps.

My mate bought his around 12 months ago though, so that would be like looking at 57 plates now. I suppose the full GTi Kit/Wheels and the remap it came with bumped the price up a little too though.
