I put my Corsa in my garage last night turned the key back to turn it off and it kept running so I stalled it took the key out and the ignition stayed on !?!? Help please

I had something similar to this on my old Corsa once, it was either the negative battery lead or an earth strap near the battery not secured properly (this was years ago so I can't remember exactly which it was).
