Awesome memory, I have one similar that made me want Nova SR's
Used to be down the shops and this lad was a postman so after work he would be cruising around near our school, lovely white Mk1 Nova SR 1.3, all the girls got well excited when it went past sitting on some TSW rims.
When I saw that I wanted one.
Funny you should say that Ollie I have 2 Nova memories too!
Another mate of mines brother had a mint black Nova GTE and my mate got a NOva SR 1.4 and I remember wanting them both so much and thinking how fucking cool those lads were back then! Good times

I have a similair memory.....
on my estate there was two lads who both had xr2i's one white one black, i reme,ber being on my skates at the shops with a few mates smoking fags thinking we were badmenz, these boys drove down the road, tunes blarring, as they stopped one of em had the windows down & whatever tune it was that he was listening the words said "jump to it" just as he stopped, he then booted it off -  -i have always been into cars and the modded scene since that day lol

My mate had a mk3 xr2i that was clean as fuck, not a spot of rust on the shell. He took the engine out to put something else in then one day just got bored and weighed it all in
