Jist of it is there is no such thing as 'warped discs' and even your glowing discs would have not alterted the metal structure in any way. You probably had excess pad material transfered on the discs, that was cured with harder braking sessions.

yep no such thing as warped disks, the vibration is from pad material bonding to the surface of disks, usual cure is new disks or a regrind,..or in this case ridiculous abuse

Makes sense in a way I guess. So basically by that theory if I take the pads out and just sand them down a bit they won't be warped anymore?

I like the ridiculous abuse approach more though

nah its the discs but yeah sanding or regrinding the discs will work, usually better having them reground as en even amount of disc will be removed, some people do sand there discs though

I'm glad someone else thinks like me, even though some mechanic friends thinks there is no way that's possible They're still ever so slightly warped obviously, but before they would shudder so bad the headlights would shake unless you were braking hard!

Thanks guys, all much appreciated

I do it day in day out (but no with brake discs obviously that would be boring all day )

He's fucking hard work. I tried for a couple of weeks waiting for prices and I gave up in the end and bought them else where. Where I live, he would be known as a "long head".

Long bod in my ends It's frustrating as I just want to buy a set as I don't know anywhere else that sells them! Will probably just call jamsport direct. Broster was fine when I bought my Ferodos!

Yeah mate very popular in the states. 'Mazdaspeed 3' as they are known over there. Same as in Australia they are popular there.

I thought about it, but I quite like the standard wheels and am more focused on it being decent handling car than looks really...
