hi all, got abit of a problem, my steering wheel is the aftermarket one that has 2 red buttons on it that are wired up for the horn, and ive had a problem for a while now with the horn not working, ive had a look round today and noticed that the horn had been unplugged behind the bumper so i decided to plug it back in but when i do the horn constantly stays on, anyone got a slight idea of what it could be or where to start looking to sort the problem out?
thanks all

im guessing your car used to have the big 2 spoke steering wheel with the horn button ion the middle? if so id say the cables are touching inside the boss causing the horn to stay on, or they have been wired together for some reason

Both wires on the steering end must be touching the same bit of metal there attached to. Or something along those lines. I would disconnect them and see then and try wire them a different way

ive had the steering wheel plastic collet go before causing this. if you remove the steering wheel you should see it on the revese with a brass contact all the way round. try swapping it for anouther if it isnt the wires
