My c20xe Corsa still has the original 1.4 clocks in but it can't make it's mind up about the speed it's all over the place 30 one minute then 45! And it sometimes doesn't work at all what's wrong with it and what needs replacing ? Thanks guys

if its cable driven perhaps the cable is worn?

screws into a plastic sender on the gearbox and is clipped into the back of the clocks in the car. cant remember how much they are maybe 10 quid from motor factors. i do a couple in a year so have a few spares.
