hope u guys can help me with this,
i fitted a x16xe in my corsa last week and it was running fine to start with, then over the last two days its been misfiring on cylinder 2. i thought i could of just been a blocked injector but last night i was pulled over by a friend saying my car was smoking really badly. i checked the oil and it had drunk a litre in the day. i striped it down and clean all the inlet checked the plugs, leads and coil pack. all fine. there was a massive pool of oil in the throttle body. what i have found out so far is that there is a lot of pressure in the rocker cover and blue smoke is being pumped out of the large overflow pipe connected to the rocker cover but is being pumped IN to the rocker?!?! im stumped if anyone had had this problem or know what i need to do to sort it i would be really grateful

If its chugging out blue smoke under acceleration and load it will be knackered piston rings as said  Really common problem on these engines, my x16xe did the same.
