was considering buying a cheap car for playing about on the drift track that i stay half a mile from, and was wondering if anyone could recomend something. an old beemer was my first choice whats the sort of limit power wise with the beemers 2.0, 2.3, 2.8 etc not very clued up on the spec of them. would like a 3.0 manual omega if i could find one.

any other suggestions?
thanks

Go for a E30 BMW, they are good for drifting and can be had for pennies! Or even a 2.0 Sierra.

e36 325i or early 328i both have over 190bhp and both have LSD's, if the 328i has ASC its not got an LSD.

my mate has got a mx5, you should see him drift that, goes into a massive roundabout at about 70mph and kicks the back end and keep it out, so funny but good to watch
