Morning 
Im going to pick up my new car today, but the tax runs out on sunday... How do i go about taxing it straight away?

Take the new keepers' slip along in place of the logbook. Can use it for up to 2 weeks iirc, don't quote me on that though.

Think it would go to his address. Depends if you trust them or not.
I have done it in the past and got the old owner to send it in the post, sometimes the tax has turned up before I went to collect

always done it at the post office with new keeper slip, mot and insurance, never had a problem. get it there and then aswell!

get insurance company to email them over, then print them off,, just dont tell the PO you printed them yourself! all good!

Some insurance companies (mine for one) don't send out docs at all, it's all through email, printing it out yourself is the only way to do it.

Gettin mine sent out within 5 days, will go down the post office wit the new keeper supplement n see wat happens

Had that too with a previous insurance company.However,the last insurers i was with(Hastings) couldnt email me them.Didnt have the function to do it.
