As long as the plate uses the UK legal font, Has a reflective background and confirms to the BS mark and displays the BS number and name of the company that made them along with the postcode, They are road legal.

I got mine from europl8 at a dub show and haven't had any bother with them on. Again, they're UK legal font and show BS mark and number etc.
