Was driving to work this morning in my vts,just taking it easy....turned of at a junction and there was a tractor in front so in second i took over,only reving to around 4-5k.When changing into 3rd my EML light came on.Iv just put the diagnostic on it and the only code its coming up with is the cataylic converter is below its freshhold or something.There was a decat on the car when i bought it and the EML light was not on and now it wont clear........any ideas?>!?!

take your battery off for an hour or so then try again

or get it sorted the proper way so you know the gypsy method doesnt cause you problems later on.

got a vts sitting here that had the same problem and it was the lamda sensor

iv tried clearing it with the diagnostic.if that doesnt work could disconnecting the battery work?

Depends, if it's the sensor that's broken then disconnecting the battery will just turn the light off until it realised that it's still broken.

Btw, the L in EML stands for light
