i have an alpine cd player in my astra then put it in my corsa a few weeks ago but then took it back out to put in my astra while the corsa was in the bodyshop. now the corsa is back i put it in and it doesnt work. the fuse on the back of the cd player is fine.

what else can it be?

wiring should be orite it worked a couple of weeks ago. checked the connections on the block connecters and they seem fine.

Checked the fuse in fusebox?

have you mixed around the yellow and red cables on the back?

what fuse is it?

swapping the red and yellow wires only with saving the settings on the cd player but i did swap them round to see and still no luck.

Try the reset button on the headunit, thats all mine needed after it decided to go at pod! after 4 1/2 hour drive back with only exhaust note, found out thats all it was

It will be the fuse in ther fusebox. think its a 20amp. just check them all

That fuse also protects a number of other devices. Has anything else stopped working? Dash lights, speedo, MFD etc

Yeah thats true. It is either a 20amp or 10 amp fuse iirc. check if other stuff has stopped.

sound will also look for a reset button.
