Basically my car doesn't want to choose any gears!  Its an X16XE and i think the gearbox is an F13, could be an F15CR though.
Just had to drive home with pretty much 3rd and 4th selectable. Managed to work out after a while that if i try putting it in reverse it goes into 1st, 2nd's directly down from it with the pull up bit of the stick still engaged, and 5th isn't selectable at all!!
It had a new clutch and release bearing about 3000 miles ago so i'm ruling that side out.
Any help is appreciated as its pretty much undriveable! Nearly bust the engine trying to go from 4th to 5th and it selecting 3rd instead...

Just the linkage needs adjusting up.
13mm spanner underneath the car and a screwdriver/drill bit/person with a hand and jobs a goodun

Thought it could be that, cheers mate! I'm seriously considering selling the thing now, i just want something that doesn't need fixing every other day

just make sure you nip the linkage up tight once its adjusted up correctly and it will never happen again 
probably just never got tightened enough when doing the clutch.

Been and got it all adjusted by my brother, can finally get the gears now!
Any idea if you can get up rated bushes on the linkage instead of the nylon one? Mines knackered!
