The car is question is a c20xe corsa that has a airbox on with a panel filter... Loads of people have been telling me its too restrictive and that a filter would be better

There wrong airbox is far far better then a suck happy induction kit. Iv had both and airbox comes on top

Yea just derestricted and panel filter. Sound like induction kit but more nicer looking and effective

Alright mate how do you derestrict the standard box? and what flexi is that from that your using? if you've got a link to a thread you'd be a legend

Erm can't help you with a link for deristricing butbits easy. someone should post a link for that probs. The pipe is a unknown vaxhall one from collage lol. Sorry Im useless lol

Derestricting airbox is really easy, literally 5 min job. Take the top off and pull the bits out

Ask Rich H about using the airbox with the XE as he had to sort his old one earlier in the year. Should be able to tell you about the flexi bit you need and everything.

Mines not flexi it's a normal intake pipe just skewiff angles lol. Drill holes in the under side and bottom to. Not the engine side wing side on both bottom and top

I managed to get the side bit off of my airbox after much persuading with two screwdrivers and a hammer, made a big hole on the wing side then Sounded proper deep once I'd done that. Must have made the Ashley exhaust twice as loud
