hi sorry if this question seems stupid but would a 5 door corsa b engine fit straight into a 3 door ??

The engines are the same for the 5 door and 3 door

Just depends on what the engines are i think, e.g. 1.0 12v to a 1.6 16v

thanks and if i was going to change from a 1.2 to a 1.6 would i have to change any of the mountings or anything like that ?

Number of doors doesn't generally make a difference but the shells are slightly different anyway for some of the different engine types.

You just get the correct mounts for the shell/engine combination. Not sure from memory what you would need for yours.
