Anyone else use(d) it?

I chucked £15 in tonight and didn't really notice much of a difference tbh except it seems to run out quicker

I'm getting my car mapped in 2 weeks and I need to fill up with some decent fuel when I get it done (and beforehand). According to the test's Thorney Motorsport have done to compare against V power and BP ultimate MOMENTUM99 did rather well

What would you guys recommend?

Yes, I use it.

Mine runs a lot nicer on Momentum than V-Power, also pops and bangs a lot more on Momentum.

Ive had the astra on mostly tesco 99, tried it on v power and noticed no difference. Shit on regular 95, poor MPG, poor peformance, just generally shit, that was before it was mapped. Not run it on 95 since it was mapped, but its a challenge not to when the nearest super is 50 miles away, the nearest tesco 99 70 miles away, and the nearest v power 100+ miles away!

used to put it in the focus but it made the car stink of eggs which is most likely the cat.

switched to 95ron and it was fine.

did like to pop and bang a lot more on the 99, and pick up from low revs felt better.

could be a placebo effect though.

When I had my petrol beeza, only Tesco99 seemed to make a difference, tried Shell and BP ones but they didn't make a difference. Also Tesco99 made it .2 sec quicker on the 1/4mile!

Ive used all sorts, only difference is about 40 miles a tank extra for me.

Obviously mapped to it on kpro you'll see benefits though

Which ever station is closest, doesn't bother me. Mapped for 99RON so I best keep it that way.

V-Power does smell nice though

i always use momentum 99 from tesco, only petrol i use. I notice a difference, seems to perform better and pop on over run.
I had to use normal tesco petrol once and the car didnt like it, wouldnt idle properly first start up.

Sooo i just stick to tesco super

Tried Momentum 99 (almost out of fuel and was only option as i couldn't be assed pushing) but i'd rather stick with Shell. Tesco should just stick to selling food ha ha.

Always use Momentum in the Teg as the Tesco is less than a mile away for me, plus clubcard points.

Where you getting mapped Ash, Eurospec?

I manage at a tesco site that sell's 99 momentum & alot of feed back is rather negative. alot of people's view's is it doesnt last any were near the quoted amount. I'v tried it but didn't really notice much difference at all might try a full tank from empty to see if can or not next time fill up, although its 1.23 my way

if you've always used normal petrol, they reckon it takes 2-3 tanks fulls before you start to see the gains.
Car adjusting to super unleaded, running cleaner ect.

its worth a go. Its more expensive to buy. But it lasts longer (more mpg) and the car runs better. So it works out the same.

mr2 is mapped to Vpower, cars always run better on it as it has a higher Ron

also when tesco had the bollox with the bad fuel im never risking that happing to my car

There's a Tesco about 2 miles up the road that does the normal Esso stuff and the 97 RON, can't be bothered driving 15 miles with the red light on to go and get the 99 RON
