ive got a 1.2 rad atm and it seems 2 get hot so i think it cud be the rad to small what rads are you guys running?

a use the 1.6 with air con its a lot bigger and u can get 2 fans on it if u like track days

Try Autovaux mate
Im also running a cool stat,they are worth getting tbh as valvers get hot

Need to watch it isn't running too cool though Archie. The oil needs to get up to running temperature, I've never thought a cool running thermostat was needed if anything I'm going to just hook the fan up to a switch. If it gets too hot on the standard stat the fan's always able to keep it cool.

yeah myn sits at 95 al the tym and in traffic and gets to 100 and then fans cools it downt to 95 agen. is it hard to put fan on a switch?

I've tried twice now and keep burning switches out, not got a clue why. I'm shite with electrics.

used to run std 1.4 rad with std thermostat and std fan wired normally. never had any issues with it over heating.

I use sport standard rad, with aircon fan bodged on instead of rad fan.
