everyone has there own opinion and i know they did have some highly modified cars in but most of the time it was 1.2 fiestas with bodykits and it was just boring. no speed or power really (i know they did a few) but most of the time it was just chavs with big bodykits.

mags like redline and vauxhall mags are way better and have a good balance max power was boring

what does everyone think.

before you say it i know there is a max power thread already but i wanted a little rant as im tired and in a foul mood

I used to get them when i was 14 - 15 for the free stickers and neons to stick on my first car

When max power first came out in the mid 90's it was a very good mag with 99% of it dedicated to the tuning side of things. It was just the way the modifying scene went that the mag turned kinda shit with half the mag all the big daft bodykits and the other half soft porn.

The thing is, people who have had cars featured in mags such as Max Power, Revs, Redline, Fast Car etc are generally far from being chavs as you suggest.

I want to agree with you, but I can't In the early days, I knew a local lad who Nos'd up his Nova and stuck a phat kit on it, he was the definition of a chav. I think everybody is different.

You're a decent lad, and easy to speak to. Certainly not a chav.

i didnt say all were so stop trying to pick a fight,

all im saying is most are chavs in max power, redline on the other hand normally features grown men in nicely tuned cars instead of 20 year olds in saxo's

it used to be really good but then it went bad thats all

not all are chavs but most are

I don't get your argument for 20 year olds with Saxo's etc being featured? Whats wrong with that?
