i bought a stainless steel manifold fitted it but it hangs so low that it scrapes on the road and over bumps. i then spent another £200 on another one and its exactly the same. so do you think i should leave the first one on and let it scrape its self away? if i was to let it scrape and sort its self out i dont want it rubbing so much that it blows a whole in it. do you think this would be the case? cant find a 4-2-1 manifold anywhere and its rubbing on the flange when it goes into 1.

Cheers in advance

Make sure you dont order that Sportex one that shaun posted as its listed for 1.2 and 1.4 8v models so wont fit the 16v models

im having a similar sort of problem but mine is knocking on the sumpguard of my car when i pull off. iv noticed that theres over an inch gap above the manifold to the sump. has anyone cut theres and shortened it to sit nearer the sump? i need to do something with mine as the sumpguard is sitting far to low to do a rally at the moment

do you think this manifold is the same length going down as the normal one? i know it hard to tell from a picture but i cant afford for it to hang lower cause it'll rub. i dont wanna be sending back a third manifold lol
