My buddy has one its a 2000 plate, silver, lowered on coilovers (unsure of make but did set him back quite abit, not cheap crap) re-maped to 270bhp full turbo back miltek exhaust and genuine lamborghini alloys. he is looking to sell around summer next year and said he will do mates rates for it (anything is a bonus seeing as his mum and dad bough him the car)when he sells is when i turn 19 and will be able to insure a car like this. I have never driven it but have been in it alot. It really is an awsome car but just wondering and other peoples opinions? not sure if anyone on here owns one atall?

Any info would be great, ill try and get a few pics up aswell.

No one can really say whether you could insure it or not, technically you can insure anything depending on what you're willing to pay. I'd imagine a 270bhp S3 at 19 would be fairly expensive though, especially with insurance prices rising like they seem to be doing.

You probably could get insured on it, but it will be expensive. I'd guess £2k+

Well thats cheap as, really. I'd definitely do it at that price. Lamborghini (SP) wheels wouldn't look good in my opinion though, it might look alright but each to their own!

Haldex.

Apparently a shit system according to the internet but never had any issues in over 3 years, works well enough in the snow and is fun in the wet.
