The reason you pay the premium for an engine is because not everyone can/ has the space to start stripping down a car, so you're paying for the ease.

I've been looking at these aswel. Are a really nice car and look smart aswel, even as standard. Only think that is sort of putting me off is Tax and then Running the thing. What are they like to use every day?

there a great car for every day use. loads of room even in the back, i can get 3 of my big mates on the back very easily and the boot is massive

And what are they like on fuel? I do a 50 mile round trip to work everyday and then other trips after that, so I can sometimes do 400 miles a week.

£30 of optimax at the moment gets me around 150 miles depending how i drive
