Need some cos my trainers are shit even in just wet weather and i'm sick of looking a total bell in wellies. Had a look at millets, go outdoors etc but it's not totally clear which ones are good on ice/snow etc other than these http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/manbi-arctic-mens-insulated-ski-boots-p129075
Don't wanna spend too much (£50 max ideally) can anyone recommend some?

Good pair of Timberlands, I'm using a pair I got about 5 years ago and they're ideal.

I've got a pair of Solomons with fleece liners and no seams etc. so nowhere to leak but I only wear them if it snows as otherwise I look like a bellend

I've got a pair of rockports on right now, they are useless in the snow, don't grip and are the most uncomfortable footwear I've worn in a while.

Im rockin some Timberland Earth Keeper boots right now! Keep my feet nice and warm on the walk to and from work. Lovely.

Anything in the go outdoors website that is water proof will work fine mate, you really only need something that is water proof, sturdy (high ankle support) and with a decent grip on the bottom, so anything up to £50 will work.
other than that you pay more for the fabric such as gortex which is very breathable so your feet wont sweat ect.
You really dont need actual mountaineering boots as these are over kill and designed for actual mountain climbing, with fixtures for spikes and such.

Found some old timberland boots in the cupboard I didnt know was there, went up to my parents & my dad was walking about in a old pair of rockports that I probably last wore back in high school!!

I used some old Timberlands last year when it snowed like fuck, only some from when they were 'fashioable' but they were brilliant. Feet were warm and dry, was pretty impressed.

With the snow being bad and deep iv stuck on a pair of black leather boots I had lying around from work

I have some awesome snow boots probably look like a jeb but I couldn't GAF. They are very warm and hugely frilly. Plus I have an attachment that has spikes and coils in so if it's that bad I can still walk
