looking at for another corsa b but soooo many of the ones that look alright have chavvy wheels and poxy window tint! So i was just wondering how easy it is to take of the window tint and any easy techniques of how to go about it? Cheers

The tint is fairly easy to remove.
It's the bastard glue that's an issue!

The glue is a complete nightmare to take off. I was actually gonna buy new side windows and fit them it was that much off a ballache.

Use a blade to get the glue off as long as its a flat blade and new it will do it easily just keep changing the blade so it doesn't scratch the window

Use a heat gun on the outside of the window then after a few mins warming the window up get a mate to rip it straight from the inside with one hard pull.
It will reduce the amount of glue left on the window.

What about glue or tar remover. That worked when I did my mates one

i found that nail polish remover done the trick to get the clue off

acetone or lotoxane should strip it right off

When i removed mine i just used a soapy solution in a spray bottle and a razor blade, came off really easy

pvc cleaner does the trik or thinners but u mite get a bit high
|
