ok, so linux can read ntfs and fat 32, can it edit and write data on it? also, do you know what this program for xp to read from an ex2 fs is called?

If it can read it then it should be able to write to it. Meaning you should be able to alter the data on hard drives connected to your system other than the one that linux is installed onto.

to be honest mate I dont know if it can write to fat32/NTFS, you are better off finding a good Linux forum for support, they will be able to provide some great help!

well, guess i'll find out what you can and cant do when i get chance to clean my second hd and finally install mandrake
