went to see Kevin Bridges on Tusday night in Hartlepool (front row) and then Frankie Boyle on Wednesday (6th Row from front). Both funny in there own right, was Frankie's last every stand up performance which was a shame

Craig Campbell (supporting Frankie) was VERY good, well worth watching - booked tickets to see him in Feb 2011 whilst they are cheap. My g/f seen him a good few years back in Hull, and he was very funny then too.

Also Colum McDougall (supporting Kevin) is also very very funny, but no dates as yet for any tours.

You can see why Boyle is giving it up, he has ran out of material.

I've never liked Bridges either, you hear the patter he comes away with in any pub in Glasgow.

Boyle doesn't have any materiel really he just rips the piss out of the crowd. Funny for all of five minutes. Much better suited to panel shows IMO

Went to see Kevin Bridges a few weeks ago. Front row Centre. He was goin through the crowd asking them what they drove and then taking the piss. He asked me and luckily he had nothing to say about my car Was relieved as I thought I was about be ripped into!

He was very good though.

Boyle had a fair chunk of material, was impressed, not as "shock value" as I expected, but some moments were very close

seen kevin bridges in june too, at Rockness, handled the fucking huge crowd well, 9/10 were off their heads lol

I honsetly think frankie is quite over rated.

my 4 favorites are easily lee evans, russell howard.michael macintyre and john bishop
