in my experience driving a track car (serious track car) to track days isnt really practical.
We take tools, and tyres..... and there is simply not enough room in a caged car to take these parts.
Nearly all out journeys to track are long.... i'd rather drive in comfort.
again - long journeys.... if the car 'expires' on track its a long way home without a working car

I see it from both ways. Nice to have one thats road worthy as its easier to get it around
Good thing about trailoring is can take spares with places to keep them and if something happens put car on trailer with no issues getting it home plus and it doesnt need tax, mot, insurance etc.
But I need a car that can tow
trailor
Licence

a frames are fine, as long as the car is taxed and insured, otherwise all the wheels have to be off the floor iirc, i still drive mine to tracks, i see it as half the fun, its by no means practical, and takes a fair bit of thought to pack all the gear in, but it can be done if you don’t have the means for a trailer etc..

hmm and thinking unless I can borrow the old mans traffic van (which is a bit big been LWB and will probably go over weight limit on licence)
I would have to have two cars anyway. (CTR and tow car)

Demo car...
I'm pretty sure someone pays Regal to use it as their demo car
I.e he buys parts, pays them to fit then lets them use/drive it in TimeAttack
