n it's fullest state of tune, the Hennessey Venom GT packs 1,200bhp and will hit 62mph in just 2.9 seconds. It also weighs around 1,000kg. You will require a set of titanium-dipped plums.
That power comes courtesy of a 6.2-litre twin turbocharged Chevy V8 built using dark matter and fuelled on snake's blood. We saw it in the flesh and something cold began crawling up ours...

It says at the start of the vid run on 93 octane which is the american rating for our normal unleaded petrol so its not methanol.
100k is a heck of a lot for a lotus exige with a posh engine

I also thought this until I looked at the pics on the TG site

It looks a fair bit bigger.

pretty sure i read it has same chassis up to behind the seats then they have there own rear end to the car! the clams looks quite similar to that of an exige but widened to suit a wider track of the car, same front lights and things like that
little bit like the vx220 has slightly different rear end of chassis to hold the z20let engine etc to say the old elise that has k serise engine but main part of chassis is the same!

just read this
"I've been successful in this business by taking cars and making them go faster. And that's basically what we've done here. It's a Lotus. The monocoque is Lotus, as are the doors, interior and dash. But the suspension, brakes, engine and most of the chassis and bodywork is ours. We've changed two thirds of the vehicle."
