I currently have a 98 1.4 sport and the engine has given up.

I'm wondering is it easy enough to replace it with a 1.6 or just put another 1.4 in it.

A xe is out of the question at the minute due to funds

is the aircon part of the timing chain or the alt belt?

There is no timing chain on these engines, but aircon is run off aux belt

1.6 sport i did it then upgraded again to xe but the 1.6 is straight forward 2 do an fun
