offered 230 cancellation.... with 9 months to go on a policy i paid 1000 for

310 already with deductions ect for switching onto the gfs yaris

is it legal to be insured twice on one car? obviously we wouldnt claim twice if anyting happened

I'm not saying you can't do it, just that you shouldn't.

Possibly, sometimes you get lucky, others they shaft you.

well i will wait till theyve paid me it, then cancel and get the remainder back tbh... if it works it works...

There is no law about being insured twice on one car BUT most insurance schedules have a paragraph in the terms & conditions about this..

Most companies will want proof of your NCB (if you intend to use it) from your other company. and companies will not usually give it up unless you cancel with them, to try and prevent what youre trying to do.

I managed to overlap the golf and the BM for about 2 weeks until they threatened to cancel my insurance on the BM unless i sent them my proof of no claims.

its not like that fro my girlfriend has a policy with me as a named driver using her no claims

i want to put my policy with my dad as named onto the car aswell using my no claims

cancelled myself of gfs policy so its legit.. we are seperately insured on the same car now. will be leaving it running so i get the ncb
