Its currently on bbc news on the TV and here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-somerset-12102865
Aparently the balloon caught fire and plummeted killing two people.

Theres fire brigades, ambulances, helicopters the works, litterally just a few mins from my house.

The ironic thing is, if anyone can remember my post a few days ago, the misses bought my hot air balloon tickets for xmas.

Needless to say, she now grounded me and wants me to stick them on ebay.

bad times

why would you not go on a hot air balloon ride just because one crashed?

that's like saying you are never going on an aeroplane or train again incase they get bombed.

ridiculous.

Ironically it's probably the safest time to go on one.

I saw that Bart- when I had my balloon ride, I flew over MSN and landed in Shepton.

A few weeks earlier, the same company crashed into the hospital grounds in my town :-/
