Hey,
People with 20XE conversions in Corsa B's, What sort of MPG are ya getting roughly?
Got the 1.4 8v, being small, fairly good on fuel, but have an xe sat in the garage not doing a lot, think i might drop it in,
more powerful engine pulling a light weight car, guessing on low throttle driving it should be fairly good on fuel?
cheers

Will probably be better on fuel than your current engine.

Could get 38mpg out of mine easily when driven normally - replacing the thermostat with a normal one instead of a cool running one, and a new coolant temp sensor helped bring it up from late 20's.
Driven hard it would drink a bit more, but it'll never be horrendous; big engine in small car meant it was never trying that hard.

TBH, after using 2/3's of the tank it's a guessing game as to how much you've got left anyway

xe in my nova is one of the best mpg cars ive had mainly because you can sit and 5th and climb hills no bother i guess but indeed as sed mpg is good if a cav or a cally can get 30 mpg's near halfing the weight certainly will make a diffrance
