my speedlines seem to be catching abit on the drivers arch.

16" Softstars will the same offset etc as your speedlines.
Could be worth downsizing tyre profile, or making sure the cambers alright.

Reading your post again if its only catching on one side and your on coilovers chances are it'll be camber related.

its upgraded shocks and 100mm custom springs mate. i had the car on full lock left(drivers side wheel tucked in)

If your down 100mm at the front then i would say you'd have to expect some slight scrubbing, maybe worth trimming the inside lip if the front arches.
