Zetec S was a good compromise for me. I had an ST24 MK2 which was starting to look tatty so i wanted to upgrade to a MK3.

At the time ST220's and ST TDCi's were £7k upwards and i had a budget of £6k so rather than get a ropey ST a mint ZS was the better option.

Heard good and bad things about TDCi's, as you do with all cars really but this one had pretty much every reciept for purchases and FSH.

I paid £4k for it, but you can get them for £3k upwards now, V6 are even cheaper and are from around £2k upwards.

st220s can be had for cheap now, good motors, great fun and quick and comfy. running costs are quite alot for what they are though, after 2006 they go into £400+ tax bracket

Yeah 50/80 or something like that!

BarnshaW- quite a few up for £3.5+ now, can't believe how cheap they are now, although i'd have to have a facelift one... pre-facelift dash's ming

What brand springs is it on? Is it still a comfy ride? Mines like a boat round bends! lol!

I've looked for a set of Coilies but they're all around the £600 mark!

I think its on Pi springs. Shocks are ST ones i believe.

Best bet is to get Eibacks for it, they lower it just right and compliment both handling and looks!
