My mate took my car to his work today to mot it( local vauxhall dealer woods) it passed . . When finished he was told to put my car into the body shop as it was getting a recall done (News to me :s) He then questioned saying " Are you sure , it's a v reg Corsa b" . . Service manager replied "yes it's getting the seatbelt buckles changed " . Now I have 2 shiney new seatbelt buckles an a new Pre-Tensioner free of charge

My car was there for mot last year and they didn't mention anything. Is this a new recall or is it just not been picked up on previous ?

It's a v plate 99 Corsa sport

I saw a couple of threads last year about recalls, can't remember on all the details but I'm sure someone else will

I know there is/was one for the seat rail etc.

Was just the buckles and a pre tensioner that got done mate

It would be amazing if they did a recall for "dangerous structural corrosion" on novas and replaced the front end for free

They must not have checked it at the last mot then ... So you think it would have been done back in 2000 if the recall is that old when it was a year old.

^That would be counted as normal, or due to improper protection/cleaning.
