Trouble is I just want to get rid of the thing so don't really want to spend money on it
Aye, tell me about it, I want rid of mine as well, sick of paying to have work done to it when I could put the money towards a new motor.

It's not that it's even costing me much TBH
Some days I actually quite like it as the handling is the best of any car I've owned which is good for going through the lanes it's just seriously down on power
Think I've managed to find everything I need for less than £25 so will probably treat it to a wash and service soon

tbf mine was black, thought it would have been soggy as well but it's dry as a bone
I replaced a FRAM part with genuine GM and they look completely different fit though so that's the main thing I guess!
The one on my B was properly dirty. Stuck a FRAM one in. Be reet Motor factors ftw.

Are these different to Proxes 4's? If not then I'm afraid to say that they are the worst tyres I've ever had.

what tread pattern were yours?
these are mine:
seem fine on a puma going 30mph around a 90 degree bend in the wet at approximately 6:22am this morning

f**king £37 in vaux for filter, oil and pollen filter, and the guy tried to tell me he had done me a deal on the oil I haven't actually looked at the invoice yet but seemed expensive, bet I could have got all that off autovaux for less than £25, oh well!

Yes and I'd do a light sand...
Why black? I've got yellow, green, orange and blue at mine ;-)

Looks like the same ones mate. Wore down pointlessly fast, not very good grip in the dry and virtually none in the rain. It was virtually impossible to pull away in the wet without getting a rudeboy wheelspin on the go. Was glad to see the back of them.
Oh, to give you an indication as to how quickly they wore out, they were 2 weeks old when I bought the car last January, and by the end of May they were illegal on the insides.
