I've often thought these martial arts are handy if ther person attacking you actually attacks you the way you've been trained to deal with.

Gary, I agree with you. Most of it looked like a choreographed fight scene.

Krav maga is designed to actually be able to fight off an attacker, not somersault around them.

The guys can do it at a proper speed.

I looked into it but fuck paying 40 quid a month to learn it.

Yeah 'cus a lot of its probably practice drills and a bit of showboating, had a looksie on wikipedia and its apparently a technique taught to various spec ops/military organisations so i'd imagine it works pretty well for real.
