as the title says really thats what im thinkin as a dont want a redtop. any1 with advice on loom etc and mounts
the corsa is a 1.2 16v v reg (x12xe)

z18xe uses the same mounts as a the corsa because it is a small block engine you can use the f17 15 13 gearbox and again your corsa shafts
z18xe is fly by wire and is a pain in the arse
you can use a x18xe1 inlet manifold as it has a throttle cable and not fly by wire
but will have to change managment and i think crank shaft sensors are different (dont quote me on that bit)
most bits are inter changeable between all small block engines eg x14xe x16xe x18xe1 and z18xe
you will also need to use a adjustable fuel pressure reg and set pressure to 3.8 bar
this is because the x18xe1 and z18xe has one fuel inlet pipe because the vectra/astra has the FPR in the tank
corsa has 2 so will have to t peice the fuel pressure reg in to the inlet and put the outlet on the FPR

cheers fellas been a good help done a few redtop conversions but wanting summat different bought the motor today with 4branch sports cat and was thinkin maybe bike carbs not too sure yet
