Now that Orange & T-Mobile have a network share, do the sims work in each others phones?

I'm looking on ebay & some selles seem to think they will, but I'm not convinced!

They won't, using the other network still involves roaming, same as a locked phone will work on a different network if you use your own sim abroad.
