I used to go out as a big group with my ex all the time and there was no issue. Equally she didnt mind if me and the lads went out (hell, she'd even come in and pick me up from the strip joint if we'd wound up there) and i didnt mind if she went out with her mates. It worked.
Its when they only want to go out with their mates and you're never even offered a courtesy invite you know somethings not right

Always. If you can't have a laugh with your missus then what's the point? I go out with my mates on the odd occasion without her but normally end up meeting up. Our first dates were big drinking sessions
Saying that, every other girl i've been with before has been the other way round, it was good at times but also caused loads of problems.
