The fan is a standard corsa 1.

I think he means do you want it to still come on when it gets up to temperature, or do you only want it to come on when you flick the switch.

Something like this...

Cant remember pin numbers on the relay.
Easy to find out just put 12 across 2 opposite pins. If it clicks then they are the switching ones that goto ground and your switch

The problem is i converted my corsa to a xe and the fan used to come on but now dont. When im driving temp is fine bout 90ish but when stuck in trafic or still goes up to 100 and no fan any more so was gona try puting on a manual switch

OK use that wiring diagram but where it says fan switch wires, just take that as the +ve and -ve out of the fan motor and will work fine.
Before you do that check the fan is wired to the fan switch (in the rad normally) if so touch those wires together and see if it comes on. If it does its a faulty switch, if not then it'll either be a dicky fan motor or dogey wiring
