My insurance renewal was due the other day there but it was that expensive (for a number of reasons) that I just couldn't justify spending that sort of money on it. I study and work within a 25 minute walk so it hopefully wont be too hard. Have Billing booked this year so will be getting the car back on the road for summer

Just wondering what I should do when its off the road, like start it every week and move it to keep the brakes from siezing?

Car is a MK1 Nova Saloon.

Pump the tyres up to the max allowed to stop them flat spotting, handbrake down, wheels chocked and disconnect the battery.

I left my 106 for a year, just parked it up in my sisters garage and left it.

A year later I just towed it out, gave it an oil change, jump started it and pumped the tyres up.

Job done.

Just whats said. Brakes shouldnt seize if handbrakes left off. A good few brakes when Its back on the road will clean up the rust on them. Make sure plenty antifreeze in it (probably been checked though with recent weather)
