There is no way "double D clutching" < real name - would cause too much stress, the guy that fitted the belt tightened it too much, since the tensioner and idler pullys haven't seized its the only way.
DD clutching is very unneccesary since it has synchomesh, but I still blip the throttle as it saves the clutch and makes it smoother.
