ive removed the standard corsa roll bar that protrudes from the suspension towards the front bumper, and saw this "roll bar" in bigrons build thread
one exactly like this
benefits / worth investing in one?

It'll stiffen the chassis up a bit, not sure if its worth having or not as I've never used one so cant comment.

that's a lower strut brace isn't it? I've got one on mine aswell as an upper one and I could tell the difference as soon as I fitted it (had the upper on its own for a while) the car felt firmer up front and less flexible, hard to explain but it felt better anyway, also cured an annoying knock i had!

Yes just bolt on, some times the exhaust is in the way, witch is why mine is fitted before it goes for the exhaust to be made

Have you got a rarb ie whiteline one?
I would advise getting one of them if you haven't already and putting the front arb back on.
I wouldn't bother with the one you've posted.
They look about as good as a rear strutbrace that mounts to the top of the struts.

I don't agree, rear bolt on braces are held on top of rubber bushes and aren't connected to the chassis, the front lower brace however is clearly adding more strength to that area and is connected to the chassis
as for front ARB I hated my corsa with one but some people swear by them

^Agreed, Yeah strengthen the shell but Nowt going through those top shock mounts. The lower arm mounts will flex if you have poly bushes putting the forces onto the floor, which will flex.
