I fancy getting another set,
I used to have a fairly basic set or numark d.drives with some concord needles etc
I fancy an mp3 set up this time round so I can mess about hooking up to the laptop to record etc
what should I be looking at? what sort of price am I looking at paying

it depends on what you are after tbh - i always like the look of stanton final scratch (mp3 encodeable vinyls) that was about 6 or 7 years ago that came out so there may be better stuff out there

Got a Hercules RMX that does the job, can pick one up for around £170ish on ebay etc.

Using it with VirtualDJ at the mo, fancying trying out Traktor too but i've not been using it all that much lately

Traktor seems so easy to use.
Ideally i'd be going for the Traktor Kontrol S4 if money wasnt an issue and you just wanted it for a bit of messing around at home.

2 of my friends use Traktor and I have been on it, seems decent! My friend has loads of equipment, I will ask him, but I think he uses Technics decks!
